The Austrian women's soccer championship was held for the 23rd time in 1994/95 after the 35-year break between 1938 and 1972. The top division is the women's Bundesliga and was held for the 13th time. The second highest division , the 18th edition this season, was divided into two regional leagues, with the 2nd East League being played for the 12th time and the West Regional League for the first time.

Austrian soccer champions became USC Landhaus for the ninth time . The champions of the second highest division were DFC Obersdorf (East) and Innsbrucker AC (West).

The mode was changed back to a basic round this year. Each team played against each other twice in a total of 14 rounds. A win was rewarded with two points, a draw with one point.

Season course

In contrast to the previous year, when seven clubs took part, the league consisted of eight teams, as the 1st DFC Leoben did not have to relegate last season and SC Neunkirchen rose from the second division. The champions in the top division were USC Landhaus , which prevented Union Kleinmünchen from winning the sixth championship title thanks to a better goal difference . At the same time it was the ninth title for the Viennese. Descent who had SC Brunn am Gebirge .

    Second performance level

    The second level is played in two regional groups: 2nd Division East and Regionalliga West.

    The second performance level consisted of two leagues, separated by region:

    • 2. Division East with the clubs from Lower Austria ( NÖFV ) and Vienna ( WFV ) and
    • Regionalliga West with the clubs from Tyrol ( TFV ) and Vorarlberg ( VFV ).

    Everyone played against each other four times in 20 rounds. A win was rewarded with two points, a draw with one point.

    Season course

    As in the previous year, the league consisted of six teams. Compared to last year, SC Neunkirchen, which has been promoted to the top division, and ATSV Deutsch-Wagram were not there. SV Horn and DFC Pellendorf were newly represented . This season, DFC Obersdorf was the champion in the 2nd league east, and it renounced promotion, so that First Vienna FC 1894 returned to the highest class level after two years.

    Regionalliga West

    mode

    The league consisted of four clubs that played against each other in 2 rounds, a round trip and a second round. The champions of the Regionalliga West were determined in six rounds.

    Season course

    The Regionalliga West was organized by the Tyrolean Football Association and the Vorarlberg Football Association and began on April 8, 1995 and ended on June 22, 1995 with the 6th round. The clubs Innsbrucker AC and the Sportunion Inzing from Tyrol took part, from Vorarlberg RW Rankweil and FC Schwarzach . The opening game was the match between FC Schwarzach and Innsbruck AC. The champions were the Innsbruck AC, which did not take part in the relegation games. FC Schwarzach came last.

    The league consisted of four clubs that played against each other in 2 rounds, a round trip and a second round. The champions of the Tyrolean League women were determined in 6 rounds.

    Season course

    The league was made up of four clubs compared to the previous year, in which six clubs participated, because FC Bad Häring , FC Breitenbach and FC Langkampfen were not there, instead the 2nd women's teams of Innsbruck AC and Sportunion Inzing and SC Wörgl rose a. Champion this season was the 2nd women's team of the Innsbruck AC II , which is not entitled to play in the top division next season.

    The league consisted of seven clubs that played against each other in a round trip. The champions of the Upper Austrian women's league were determined in 12 rounds.

    Season course

    The league consisted of seven clubs again compared to the previous year, because SV Hellmonsödt was not there, instead SV Grünau played for the first time . This season FC Münzkirchen became champions , but they are not entitled to play in the top division next season. SV Chemie Linz and SV Grünau dissolved their women's team at the end of the season.
