The Austrian Women's Soccer Cup was played for the 32nd time in the 2005/06 season. As the ÖFB-Ladies-Cup it was carried out by the Austrian Football Association for the 14th time, as the ÖFB-Stiegl-Ladies-Cup for the second time, and began on September 3, 2005 with the first round and ended on June 15, 2006 with the final in the Kainbach / Hönigtal in Styria. SV Neulengbach won the trophy for the fourth time in a row.
Participating teams
For the Austrian women's soccer cup, based on the participation of the leagues of the 2005/06 season, the following 34 teams, which after the season placement of the women's Bundesliga 2004/05 , the 2nd division middle 2004/05 , the 2nd division east 2004 / 05 , the Landesliga Steiermark 2004/05 and the Regionalliga West 2004/05 are classified. Teams that are marked as crossed out did not take part in the competition for various reasons or are second teams and therefore did not play for the cup. Furthermore, the national cup winner, the national champion or representatives of the 2004/05 season could take part.
