Austrian Art Prize for Music

The Austrian Art Prize for Music is one of the state prizes of the Republic of Austria and is awarded by the Federal Ministry for Education, Art and Culture . Until 2009 it was known as the Austrian Prize for Music , and since 2010 it has been awarded under the name of the Austrian Art Prize for Music .

In addition, the Outstanding Artist Award for music has been presented since 2010 . It replaces the Austrian Music Promotion Prize that existed from 1971 to 2009 , the predecessor of which was the State Prize for Music awarded from 1950 to 1970 .
