Austrian Music Theater Award 2019

The Austrian Music Theater Prize 2019 is the seventh award of the Austrian Music Theater Prize .

The award ceremony took place on June 23, 2019 at the Tiroler Landestheater in Innsbruck . The nominations were announced on May 8, 2019. Most of them, in a total of eight categories, went to the Graz Opera House . The Landestheater Linz received seven nominations , six nominations for the Landestheater Innsbruck , five for the Vienna Volksoper and three each for the Theater an der Wien and the Baden stage . For the first time, productions from festivals such as the Salzburg and Bregenz festivals were taken into account .

The award was presented in 17 categories in 2019. Three awards each went to the Tiroler Landestheater and the Graz Opera.
