The approximately 505 hectare (ha) protected area “Eastern Hegau and Linzgau” naturally belongs to the Hegau , the Danube-Ablach-Platten and the Hegaualb . Its seven sub-areas are located in the districts of the community of Eigeltingen (464.4771 ha = 92%) and the city of Stockach (40.3893 ha = 8%) in the district of Constance and an average altitude of 617 m above sea level.
