Øster Egede Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Fakse Herred in what was then Præstø Amt , then to Rønnede Kommune in Storstrøms Amt , which was merged into Faxe Kommune in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

130 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Øster Egede Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring municipalities are Sønder Dalby Sogn in the north, Faxe Sogn in the south-east and Kongsted Sogn in the south-west . At the small northerly enclave borders of the Sogn to the north of the enclave Hårlev Sogn , in the east and south Karise Sogn and west also Sønder Dalby Sogn.
