Terslev Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Ringsted Herred in what was then Sorø Amt , then to Haslev Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which was merged into Faxe Kommune in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

1737 inhabitants live in the parish, 907 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Terslev Kirke".

Neighboring communities are in the southeast Tureby Sogn , in the south Freerslev Sogn , in the southwest Haslev Sogn and in the west Øde Førslev Sogn , furthermore in the northwestern Ringsted municipality Ørslev Sogn and in the northeastern Køge municipality in the north Gørslev Sogn and Køge Sogn and in the east Sædder Sogn , which partially protrudes into the Faxe Kommune.
