Tureby Kirke

Tureby Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Fakse Herred in what was then Præstø Amt , then to Rønnede Kommune in Storstrøms Amt , which was merged into Faxe Kommune in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

200 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Tureby Kirke".

Neighbors are in the southeast Karise Sogn and the enclave lying in the Faxe Municipality of primarily in the Stevns Municipality lying Hårlev Sogn , south Sønder Dalby Sogn , west Freerslev Sogn and Terslev Sogn and in the northern Køge Municipality Sædder Sogn which partially extends into Faxe commune, and in Stevns commune to the east, Vråby Sogn .
