Spjellerup Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Fakse Herred in what was then Præstø Amt , then to Fakse Kommune in Storstrøms Amt , which was merged into Faxe Kommune in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

393 residents live in the parish, 247 of them in the parish Store Spjellerup (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Spjellerup Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring communities are Alslev Sogn in the north-west , Smerup Sogn in the east, Vemmetofte Sogn in the south and Hylleholt Sogn in the south-west .
