... and the Beat Goes On! (English for: ... and the beat goes on! ) is the debut album by the German dance band Scooter . It was released on January 31, 1995 on the labels Club Tools and Edel Music .

The album was produced by the production team The Loop !, consisting of Hans Peter Geerdes , Hendrik Stedler , Jens Thele and Sören Bühler.
Cover design
The album cover shows the smiling faces of the then three band members Rick J. Jordan , HP Baxxter and Ferris Bühler. Below is the title ... and the Beat Goes On! in large, glowing white letters. Chart successes and singles
... and the Beat Goes On! entered the German charts on March 27, 1995 at number 43 and two weeks later reached the highest position at number 25. Overall, the album stayed in the Top 100 for 20 weeks with one interruption. The album also reached the charts in Austria and Switzerland, placing 27 and 29 respectively.
The four songs released as singles from the album were even more successful than the album itself. The first release, Hyper Hyper, reached rank 2 in the German and Austrian charts and was awarded a platinum record for more than 500,000 units sold in Germany . The following singles Move Your Ass! , Friends and Endless Summer also reached the top 5 in the German charts and were each awarded a gold record for over 250,000 sales .
