(2735) Ellen ( 1977 RB ) is an approximately four kilometers large asteroid of the main inner belt that was found on September 13, 1977 by the American astronomers scolded John Bus and Tod R. Lauer at the Palomar Observatory northeast of San Diego , California ( IAU code 675) was discovered.
designation
(2735) Ellen was named by the explorer Schelte John Bus after his then fiancé and now wife Ellen Howell . She discovered comet 88P / Howell in 1981 .
