(2745) San Martin ( 1976 SR 10 ; 1980 XG ) is an approximately five kilometers in Asteroid of the inner main belt , which on 25 September 1976 at the Félix Aguilar Observatory at El Leoncito National Park in the province of San Juan in Argentina ( IAU- Code 808) was discovered.

designation

(2745) San Martin was named after José de San Martín (1778-1850), a fighter of the South American Wars of Independence . He is considered the "father of Argentina and liberator of Chile and Peru ".
