- Time of the Three Kingdoms : Based on his Longzhong Plan drawn up in 207, Zhuge Liang , strategist and general of the Shu Han , conducts the first two of his northern expeditions against the Wei Dynasty .
- Battle of Shiting : The Wu Dynasty under Lu Xun defeats the Wei Dynasty under Cao Xiu .
- With the defeat in the Battle of Jieting , the first Northern Expedition fails. General Ma Su is then executed for his failure.
