  • Corinthian League : all Greek cities except Sparta recognize the Macedonian King Philip II as a hegemon . Macedonia guarantees the autonomy of the Graubünden people within the framework of a general peace ; Changing the constitution of another state through violent intervention is prohibited, as is feuding or piracy. The highest organ of the Federation is the Synhedrion (council), which Philip presides as the hegemon. To ensure peace, Macedonia places garrisons in Thebes , Corinth and Chalcis ; Athens must cede Chersonese to Macedonia. The war against Persia (vengeance for the destruction of Athens in 480 BC) is decided.
  • Philip II marries his seventh honorary wife: Cleopatra , niece of his general Attalus . At the wedding party, the bride uncle humiliates Alexander : He is loudly happy about a "pure" Macedonian heir to the throne that is to be expected soon (while Alexander is the son of a foreigner). When Philip did not support him in the conflict that broke out, Alexander and his mother Olympias left the Macedonian court and went into exile in Epirus .
