AIAS Hall of Fame

The Hall of Fame of the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS) was in 1998 founded to outstanding developers and designers in the field of computer and video games distinguish. Every year a new member is accepted who is introduced with a ceremony at the annual AIAS awards ceremony, the DICE Awards (formerly Interactive Achievement Awards) as part of the DICE conference .

The decision on new members of the Hall of Fame is made by the board of the AIAS on the basis of their works and services to the games industry. The selection criteria include: participation in the creation of a new game genre or the redefinition of an existing genre through outstanding further development, the influence of your work on other designers and products, high creativity and innovative spirit, which led to lasting cultural significance and influence, and sustained economic success affecting the entire industry.
