ATT R&D Co., Ltd. ( kor. 고급 교통 기술 , more rarely Advanced Transportation Technologies R&D ) was a South Korean developer and manufacturer of electric vehicles .

The company was founded in Korea in 1999. In 2002 the construction of a production facility in Sutherlin ( Oregon , USA) was planned.

In 2014 the company still existed. The website was still available until 2016 and advertised (with a brochure dated 2003) one of the models as a lightweight electric vehicle and golf caddy.

Models

The first vehicle was the ATT Invita presented in 2003 . It was available as a two-seater, four-seater, six-seater or as a commercial vehicle. It was also offered as a two- or four-seater golf trolley. With a 72 V DC motor, a top speed of 40 km / h should be achieved. Series production of the Invita began in 2002. According to the company, 150 units of the Invita were manufactured, 80 of which were sold in the USA. The Invita was also available as an unmanned version for military purposes.

Another model was the Always . It is said to have been built in series from 2004.

The ready-to-drive Parade prototype, developed since 1997 and presented in 2011, came closest to a conventional automobile concept. The four-door, electric motor-powered compact car, which was reported to have a range of around 100 km (or up to 150 km) and a top speed of 110 km / h, should be available at a price of $ 20,000. The prototype took part in the 700 km Tour de Sol 2001 between Massachusetts and New York City. However, serial production could not be financed. Another source attributes the Parade model to a different manufacturer.

In 2012, the Smart Porter commercial vehicle with electric drive was presented in Japan . The sales start of this vehicle was announced for 2014.

An electric tram was also produced as a single order. In addition, various individual vehicles were converted to electric drive.
