Aaron Robert Ashmore (born October 7, 1979 in Richmond , British Columbia ) is a Canadian actor .

Life

Aaron Ashmore was born in Richmond on October 7, 1979, to Linda and Rick Ashmore. He has an identical twin brother named Shawn . The two have a "GMA" ( Good Man Ashmore ) tattoo on their wrist. Aaron has been married to Zoë Kate since June 20, 2014.

Ashmore has been in the film and television business since 1991. First he made small appearances in various film and television productions. Since the early 2000s he can also be seen in larger roles. His first long-term roles in comparison, he took on in the series Veronica Mars and Missing - Desperately Wanted from 2004 to 2006. From 2006 to 2011, he was in more than 50 episodes of Smallville as the character Jimmy Olsen to see. In the Syfy series Warehouse 13 , he played the gay character Agent Steve Jinks.
