Career

Adaílton started playing football at EC Juventude from Caxias do Sul at the age of ten . In 1995 he moved up to the squad of the first team, which was represented at the time in the top Brazilian division. At the beginning of 1997 he moved to league rivals Guarani FC . In December 1997, the Italian first division club AC Parma brought him to Europe. There he was unable to assert himself, however, and in the summer of 1998 he moved to Paris Saint-Germain in France . There he was only used in half of the games and finished with his team in midfield at the end of the season .

After just a year in France, Adaílton returned to Italy, where he joined Hellas Verona . After he had fought for a regular place in the 1999/2000 season , he was less used in the following seasons. In 2002 , when he was relegated, he was only used three times. In Serie B he returned to the team, but played with his team not to return to the House of Lords, but against the crash into Serie C1 . After a 19th place in the 2003/04 season , the club finished the following season in sixth place and narrowly missed promotion. In both seasons he scored nine goals and for the first time proved that he was dangerous.

After 15 goals in the 2005/06 season , which Hellas finished in midfield, Adaílton left Verona and moved to the ambitious Serie B promoted CFC Genoa . There he contributed eleven hits to the Serie A march. Nevertheless, he joined the league competitor FC Bologna in the summer of 2007 , with whom he also made promotion in the 2007/08 season . In the House of Lords he succeeded with his club in the 2008/09 season of relegation, Adaílton could only achieve one goal. In the following season he found his marksmanship again and secured Bologna again the league whereabouts.

In the summer of 2010 Adaílton left Bologna and moved to FC Vaslui in the Romanian League 1 . With his new club he reached third place at the end of the 2010/11 season and was allowed to qualify for the Champions League . After losing against FC Twente Enschede , he played in the Europa League , but lost with his team in the group stage to Sporting Lisbon and Lazio . He finished the 2011/12 season with the runner-up behind CFR Cluj . He then moved to the lower class Finnish club SalReipas. In April 2013 he returned to his hometown club EC Juventude, where he retired from his career in late 2013.
