Adolf Beck (politician)

Adolf Beck (born January 16, 1938 in Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz ; † May 15, 2009 in Regensburg ) was a Bavarian state politician ( CSU ). From 1970 to 2003 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament.

Life

Beck attended elementary school and a humanistic grammar school for six years before he worked as an employee in an industrial company. In 1959 he did his military service for 18 months in the Bundeswehr and was dismissed as a lieutenant in the reserve . From 1960 until he moved into the Bavarian state parliament , he worked for the CSU district association of Upper Palatinate . In 1987 he became the captain of the reserve transported .

Beck joined the CSU in 1959 and was elected deputy district chairman of the Junge Union Oberpfalz in 1965. From 1979 to 1999 he was district chairman of the CSU in the Regensburg district , and in 1999 he became chairman of the district honorary committee . From May 1970 until his entry into the state parliament in December 1970, he was a member of the Upper Palatinate district assembly . From 1972 to 1990 he was a member of the Regensburg district assembly and chairman of the CSU parliamentary group there . From 1970 to 2003 he was a member of the state parliament in Bavaria .

In the Bavarian state parliament he was a member of the council of elders from the 9th to the 12th legislative period . He was also a member of the Committee on Rules of Procedure and Election Review and the Committee on Social and Health Policy in the 7th legislative period. In the 8th legislative period he was a member of the Committee for Security Issues and the Committee on Economics and Transport, to which he belonged until the end of the 12th legislative period. In the 13th legislative period he was also a member of the Committee on Economics, Transport and Borderlands and in the following parliamentary term a member of the Committee on Economics, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology.
