Adriano Carciola (born December 19, 1987 in Kassel ) is a German - Italian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HC Landsberg since 2019 . His brother Fabio is also a hockey player.

Career

Adriano Carciola started his career in the youth department of the Kassel Huskies , the ice hockey youth Kassel. In the summer of 2003 he followed his brother Fabio to Mannheim and played for the young eagles, with whom the striker became German junior champions. A year later, however, the right-handed shooter moved back to Kassel, where he went on the ice for the EJ Kassel in the German Junior League. In the following season Carciola finally got his first professional contract and made his DEL debut for the Huskies, but could not achieve a scorer point in a total of 31 games of the season. Despite the relegation of the Huskies to the 2nd Bundesliga , his contract was extended and Carciola played 39 games for the sled dogs, in which he scored a goal and an assist .

After the Huskies missed ascent in the 2006/07 season , it became known that Carciola's contract would not be extended and he decided to move to the second division ESC Dresden. Jan Tabor , manager of the Eislöwen, says about the new addition: “ Marian Hurtík knows Adriano Carciola very well from his time with the Kassel youngsters. He's a great talent and got regular ice ages in the second division last season. We are convinced that we have filled one of the U21 positions for the major league very well and that Adriano would also be a good reinforcement in the event of a second division start. "

After the season Carciola moved to the upper league with the Hanover Indians , with whom he made promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga . For the 2009/10 season , the Eispiraten Crimmitschau signed the striker, for whom he played two seasons. For the 2011/12 season , the Heilbronn Falcons hired Carciola, who is back on the same team with his brother.

After his brother left the Falken during the season, Adriano also left the Falken at the end of the season. In contrast to his brother, however, he stayed in the DEL2 and switched to the Kassel Huskies . After winning the DEL2 championship in 2016 with the Huskies, Adriano Carciola switched to his Fabio, who played for the Ravensburg Towerstars . In the Towerstars, Adriano Carciola completed 37 games, in which he scored 17 goals and prepared eleven more. After Fabio Carciola was released in January 2017, Adriano Carciola decided to return to the huskies. In return, Philipp Schlager moved from Kassel to the Towerstars.

After the 2018/19 season he ended his professional career, began training in IT and plays for HC Landsberg in the Bayern League at the amateur level.

Inline hockey

During the summer break, Adriano Carciola used to play inline hockey with his brother Fabio for the Sky-Rollers Kassel . From 2012 Carciola was also active with his brother Fabio for the Highlander Lüdenscheid in the inline skater hockey Bundesliga . In addition, he was temporarily active for both German national inline hockey teams and took part in the FIRS World Championship 2010 and the IIHF World Championship 2014 . In summer 2016 he played together with his brother for the TGW Kassel Wizards in the Bundesliga skater hockey.
