Philipp Schlager (born July 22, 1986 in Munich ) is a German ice hockey player who has been under contract with EC Bad Tölz from the DEL2 since June 2017 .
Career
Philipp Schlager began his career in 1991 at SC Reichersbeuern . For the 1999/2000 season, the winger moved to the neighboring club EC Bad Tölz in the school age group, from the 2001/2002 season he played for the young eagles Mannheim , with whom he won the championship title in the DNL three times in a row . Equipped with a sponsorship license from Adler Mannheim , Schlager spent the 2004/05 season with the Heilbronner Falken in the major league . Although one of the youngest in the team, Schlager was able to prove himself as the third best scorer at the end of the season. Since Heilbronn could not reach the Oberliga play-offs, the attacker was used in the Mannheim Adler team for the rest of the season and thus became German runner-up in 2005 . During this season he was able to record his first scorer point in the ice hockey league and switched to league rivals Kassel Huskies during the 2008/09 season . From 2010 Schlager played for the Schwenninger Wild Wings , from 2013 in the DEL.
In July 2016, he first dissolved the current contract with the Wild Wings and then returned to the Kassel Huskies , who now played in the DEL2 . In January 2017 he moved to the Ravensburg Towerstars in exchange for Adriano Carciola . In June 2017, Schlager was signed by the DEL2 promoted EC Bad Tölz .
International
Schlager already played for various BEV and DEB teams in his early youth . With the junior national team , he took part in the U20 B World Cup in 2006 , where he was promoted back to the A group.
