Aerodromo Municipal de Portimão ( German  Urban Portimão Airport , IATA code PRM , ICAO code LPPM ) is a civilian airfield in close proximity to the village of Montes de Alvor , Portugal . It is located seven kilometers from Portimão and the airport is operated by the city there. Commercial aviation companies and a parachute jump organization are based on the square, and there is a bar in the tower building.

The paved runway is 859 meters long, and AVGAS 100LL and JET A1 can be refueled at the airport filling station .

The field is open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for aircraft with a maximum take-off weight of up to 5700 kg, the frequency is 122.00 MHz.

In 2018, the Portuguese regional airline Aero VIP served the airport twice a day with Cascais near Lisbon under the SevenAir brand . The flight is part of a north-south connection that connects the cities of Bragança , Vila Real , Viseu , Cascais and Portimão - they are served one after the other on the route.
