The Évora airport, in Portuguese Aeródromo de Évora, is a Portuguese airfield . The field is located around 5 kilometers south of the city of Évora and is used exclusively by sport and private aircraft.
The aeroclube de Évora, Aeroclube Universitário de Lisboa and the CAE Global Academy Évora flight school are located on the airfield site, which was established in the early 1970s on 40 hectares of land .
A Precision Approach Path Indicator was certified for school operations at the CAE Global Academy in 2009 and put into operation on March 27, 2009. The "Portugal Airshow", one of the largest aviation events on the Iberian Peninsula , is held at the airport every two years .
