The Mirandela Airport (Portuguese: Aeródromo Municipal de Mirandela) is an airfield in the Portuguese region of Norte , near the city of Mirandela . The airfield, which opened on August 5, 1945 , is used exclusively by sport and private aircraft.

On April 16, 1946, the Aero Clube Mirandela (short: ACM) was founded. In 1950 the hangar was built . In 1979 the club stopped its activities until it was founded in 1988. In 2009 a flight school was set up at the airfield which was certified by the INAC aviation authority on October 14, 2009.
