The Affhöllerbach is an approximately four and a half kilometers long right and southeast tributary of the Gersprenz .

The Affhöllerbach rises at an altitude of about 370  m above sea level. NHN in the Odenwald south of the Brombachtal district of Böllstein .

It passes the village and flows in a north-northwest direction, first through grassland and then through forest. Then it runs in a north-westerly direction along the north-east edge of the village belonging to Brensbach and of the same name as it .

It now runs through fields and meadows and finally flows north-northwest of the Nieder-Kainsbach district of Brensbach at an altitude of about 173  m above sea level. NHN from the right and south-east into the Gersprenz approaching from the south.

Its 4.5 km long run ends about 197 meters below its source, so it has an average bed gradient of about 44 ‰.
