Böllstein is the westernmost part of the municipality Brombachtal in the Odenwaldkreis in southern Hesse .

Geographical location

At 400 meters, Böllstein is the highest district of Brombachtal and is the only one west of the watershed of Gersprenz and Mümling , in the headwaters of the Affhöllerbach . On the watershed at the eastern edge, the Böllsteiner height of 416 meters, the second highest peak in the Böllsteiner Odenwald .
