action
After the villain and ex-CIA instructor Diaz has switched sides and snatched a mind control machine, he now wants to usurp world domination. And who better suited for this job than the young top agent Cody Banks. Once in London, he should prevent Diaz and his henchman Kenworth from using the apparatus to bring leading world politicians and thus all of humanity under their control. He gets help from the ex-agent Derek and the cute British undercover agent Emily.
criticism
“Just one year after the surprising US success of the teen action comedy“ Agent Cody Banks ”, the inevitable sequel is already in the cinemas. With what comes out in the end, the phrase “quick shot” is obvious. Quickly serve the target group as long as leading actor Frankie Muniz has not yet completely outgrown the teenage agent role. "Agent Cody Banks 2" is fast-paced, reasonably funny and, above all, silly. Anyone who has passed adolescence will turn away bored, the younger audience can have their fun at least in phases with a consequent eye-to-eye mentality. "
“Continuation of the agent adventure“ Agent Cody Banks ”(2003) designed for older children and young people, which relies on humor and is largely entertaining despite its dramaturgical weaknesses. The unreflected fascination for sophisticated weapon systems and martial arts conveys rather questionable messages. "
