Agnes Palmisano
Agnes Palmisano (born November 27, 1974 in Vienna ) is an Austrian musician in the genre of the Viennese dudler .
Life
Agnes Palmisano is the daughter of a Pinzgau woman and a Carinthian Slovenian. She grew up in Wöllersdorf and Moscow , where her father was an Austrian military attaché . After graduating from high school in Wiener Neustadt , she trained as a special school teacher . From 1997 to 2005 she studied singing at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with a focus on music theater , ensemble management and a course in breathing and movement. She also attended master classes a. a. with Kurt Widmer , Andrea Mellis and Gerhard Kahry. She took acting courses with Stephan Perdekamp, Robyn Lee and Justus Neumann. Standard dance, folk dance, modern jazz and improvisation are also part of the training.
Palmisano is married to Matthias Hengl, the operator of the Grinzinger winery and Heurigen Hengl-Haselbrunner, and has two children.
Act
In 2002, Palmisano had her first encounter with the Wiener Dudler , a musical genre in which she has grown over the years to become a leading interpreter and expert and which in 2010 was included in the register of intangible cultural heritage . Her partners included Karl Hodina , Walther Soyka , Roland Neuwirth , Trude Mally , Kurt Girk and Gerhard Bronner .
She has already performed throughout Europe, South America and Asia. She could also be heard on ORF in the television program Mei liabste Weis . She has worked in productions at the Dortmund Opera, the Burgtheater in Vienna and the Volksoper in Vienna.
From 2010–2012 she taught integrative music didactics at the Vienna University of Music, based on her integrative and inclusive music theater projects. She has been teaching at the Baden University of Education since 2018.
