Albert Vincent Casey
Albert Vincent Casey (born February 28, 1920 in Boston , Massachusetts , † July 10, 2004 in Dallas , Texas ) was United States Postmaster General , publisher of the Los Angeles Times and member of the Bohemian Grove .
Career
Albert Vincent Casey served in the US Army during World War II . After the war he went to Harvard University , where he received two degrees in 1948.
Casey was President of the Times Mirror Company for eight years . He was the CEO of American Airlines from 1974 to 1985 . He then held the post of Postmaster General for a few months in 1986. He later served as director of American Airlines. He served as President and CEO of the Resolution Trust Corporation for seventeen months from 1992 to 1993 . He also served as a Distinguished Executive at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars .
He served on the United States Postal Service Board of Governors from August 2002 until his death in 2004 .
