Alejandro Pedraz (born September 4, 1990 in San Sebastián ) is a Spanish ice hockey player who has been under contract with CH Majadahonda in the Spanish Super League since 2015 .

Career

Alejandro Pedraz began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth division of the Finnish first division club KalPa Kuopio , for whose U18 juniors he was active from 2005 to 2008 and then for their U20 juniors from 2008 to 2010. For the 2010/11 season he returned to his home country and signed a contract with CH Majadahonda from the Spanish Super League . In 2012 he was the top scorer in the Super League. In 2014 he was drawn to the league competitor CG Puigcerdà . With his new club he took part in the IIHF Continental Cup 2014/15 , but retired despite victories against HK Beostar (5: 1) and İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi SK (20: 1), as the decisive game against the first-round host HK ZSKA Sofia was just lost 2: 3. After only a year, however, he returned to Majadahonda, where he has played again since then.

International

For Spain, Pedraz took part in the junior division of the U18 World Junior Championships in Division III 2007 , the U18 World Junior Championships in Division II in 2006 and 2008 and the U20 World Junior Championships in Division II in 2007 , 2008 , 2009 and 2010 . He also played with the Spanish student selection at the Winter Universiade 2011 in Erzurum and the Winter Universiade 2015 in Grenada .

In the senior division, he was in the Iberian squad at the World Cups of Division II in 2007 , 2008 , 2009 and 2010 , when he was the best goal setter of the tournament, in 2012 and 2013 and at the World Cup of Division I in 2011 . He also represented his colors at the qualifying tournaments for the 2010 in Vancouver , 2014 in Sochi and 2018 in Pyeongchang .
