Career

Janzen came to Germany in 2001 and began his career with the Cologne EC Junghaien in the German Junior League . In the following season he moved to REV Bremerhaven , for which he played a total of five seasons. As part of the sponsorship license program , the striker also made two appearances for the Hannover Scorpions from the German Ice Hockey League .

The 2008/09 season began Alexander Janzen in the Pervaya League , where he was under contract with Pennant Meschduretschensk . Due to financial problems, however, he was released in early December 2008 and switched to the Crimmitschau ice pirates . After the season, Janzen did not receive a new contract offer from the Eispiraten. In mid-July 2009, those responsible for the upper division EHC Dortmund announced that they had signed the 23-year-old, but he only stayed there for one season. For the 2010/11 season he was drawn back to REV Bremerhaven, where Janzen began his professional career. In Bremerhaven he meets his younger brother Sergei , who is also under contract there.

In August 2012 Alexander and his brother Sergei received a trial contract with the Hannover Scorpions . Both were able to convince during the preparation for the season and were awarded a contract with the Lower Saxony for the 2012/13 season . Alexander scored his first DEL goal in his fifth game of the season for the Hannover Scorpions. His brother Sergei provided the template. For the 2014/15 season , Alexander, like his brother, moved to the DEL2 to the Heilbronner Falken , a year later they were signed together by Deggendorfer SC .
