Alexander Saran

Alexander Saran (* 1968 in Munich ) is a German television director and documentary filmmaker .

Life

Alexander Saran was born in Munich in 1968 as the first son of the physicist Manfred Saran and the Austrian architect Hedda Saran. He studied political science, psychology, history and German at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich , graduating with a master's degree. Since 1997 he has been working as a freelance writer and director a. a. for Bavarian TV , ARD and Servus TV . 2001–2002 he was the creative director for Liga Disney Channel (Premiere).

Alexander Saran lives in Munich and - in addition to his work as a screenwriter and director - works as a lecturer for prime-time documentaries and moderation coaching and projects image films and the like. a. for the Natural History Museum Bavaria.

He is currently working primarily on the fifth season of the Servus TV format "Austrian Hotel Legends", which was also praised by television critics.
