Alexander Schuster (born May 9, 1975 in Heilbronn ) is a former German ice hockey player ( defender ) who has been working as a coach since the end of his career.

Career

Schuster began his career in the 1994/95 season in the 1st League South at Heilbronn EC , which he left after a year to play for ETC Timmendorfer Strand in the 1st League North.

For the 1996/97 season Schuster moved to EC Hannover Turtles , where he was also under contract in the 1997/98 season .

In the 1998/99 season Schuster then returned to the Heilbronn EC, for which he also went on the ice in the 1999/2000 , before he decided to move to the Hamburg Crocodiles in the major league for the 2000/01 season .

After a year in the league, Schuster returned to the 2nd Bundesliga for the 2001/02 season and signed a contract with EV Duisburg before moving to league rivals EC Bad Nauheim at the beginning of the 2002/03 season.

The 2004/05 season began Schuster in the league at Heilbronner EC, which he left again during the season to end the season at SC Bietigheim-Bissingen .

In the 2005/06 season he was then under contract with EHC Munich , with whom he managed to stay in his last season in the second division.

From the 2006/07 season Schuster was again active in the major league, where he first played for the Hanover Indians , before moving to the EHC Klostersee for the 2007/08 season. From the 2009/10 season he was active as a stand-by player for the national league team Wanderers Germering before ending his career in 2011. Since then he has been assistant trainer at Wanderers Germering.
