EA Wachholz , completely Eckhart-Alexander Wachholz (born April 3, 1945 in Seilershof ) is a German actor , author , director and painter .

Career

Wachholz first took acting lessons in Berlin and Hamburg , then volunteered with Boleslav Barlog at the Berlin Schiller Theater and later went to New Jersey , Paris and Tokyo to complete his training.

He became known to a wide audience through the role of Enno Pritzwalk in the ARD early evening series Marienhof , in which he was seen from October 13, 1992 to March 30, 1993. Several engagements in television productions followed. Wachholz was seen in several television series such as Forsthaus Falkenau and Um Himmels Willen as well as in crime novels such as Balko , SOKO 5113 or Die Rosenheim-Cops . He also shone in several cinema productions, u. a. in the foreign film projects Who was Kafka? and Hostile Waters .

Since the turn of the millennium , Wachholz has also increasingly occupied himself with painting and Buddhism . Under the Buddhist name Sherab Gyamptso, he himself works as a painter of watercolors, which he primarily exhibits and sells via the Internet.
