Alexei Wiktorowitsch Badjukow ( Russian Алексей Викторович Бадюков ; born April 20, 1978 in Moscow , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who was last under contract with Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod in the Continental Hockey League .
Career
Alexei Badjukow began his career as a hockey player in his hometown at HK Dynamo Moscow , for which he made his debut in the Russian Super League in the 1996/97 season , where he was used in a total of three games in his rookie year . The attacker then ran for one year each for their league rivals Dinamo-Energija Yekaterinburg and Krylja Sowetow Moscow , before he was under contract with HK Awangard Omsk from 2001 to 2003 . From 2003 to 2005, the left-shot was each a season for Lokomotiv Yaroslavl and Severstal Tscherepowez on the ice before he was committed in the summer of 2005 by Ak Bars Kazan , with whom he was first Russian champion in the 2005/06 season . In the following season he moved with his team again in the final of the Superliga, but the team was defeated by HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk . Before that, Badjukow won the IIHF European Champions Cup with Kazan at European level , with HPK Hämeenlinna from the Finnish SM-liiga being defeated 6-0 in the final.
In the summer of 2007, the winger returned to HK Dynamo Moscow, where he started his career. He left the capital city during the 2008/09 season to play again for Ak Bars Kazan, with whom he won the Gagarin Cup at the end of the season. In the 2009/10 season he won the Gagarin Cup again with Ak Bars Kazan.
In August 2010 Badjukow was signed by HK CSKA Moscow for one year. At the end of January 2011 Badjukow returned to Ak Bars Kazan. In July 2011, the striker received another contract with HK ZSKA Moscow and subsequently completed 58 KHL games for the army sports club, in which he scored 19 points. In the summer of 2012 Badjukow moved to Vitjas Chekhov , for whom he scored 21 scorer points in 52 KHL games. Shortly before the start of the 2013/14 season, he was again committed by Awangard Omsk, but released again at the end of November and then committed by Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod .
