Alfonso Calzolari

Alfonso Calzolari (born April 30, 1887 in Vergato , † February 7, 1983 in Ceriale ) was an Italian cyclist .

His greatest success was winning the overall ranking of the Giro d'Italia in 1914 , in which only eight starters reached the finish. He won with the biggest time advantage in Giro history of 1h 57 '26 "ahead of Pierino Albini .
