Antonio Pesenti

Antonio Pesenti (born May 17, 1908 in Zogno , † June 10, 1968 in Bergamo ) was an Italian cyclist .

His greatest success was winning the overall ranking of the Giro d'Italia in 1932 . On the seventh stage from Lanciano to Foggia he was able to win the pink jersey from German Hermann Buse and defend it until the end of the Giro. After he reached fourth place in the Tour de France in the same year , he could not record any major successes in the following years.

Antonio Pesenti was the father of the cyclist Guglielmo Pesenti .
