Alhaji Kamara (born April 16, 1994 ) is a football player from Sierra Leone .

society

Kamara began his adult career at FC Kallon from Freetown , where he became a national player for the Sierra Leonean national team . In the summer of 2012, the Swedish first division club Djurgårdens IF loaned him until the end of the season, the manager Magnus Pehrsson also agreed a purchase option with the selling club at the end of the year. By the end of the 2012 season he did not get beyond the status of a supplementary player and played four of his five league games as a substitute. In February 2013 he moved on loan to third division club IK Frej in Division 1 , after six months he moved on to second division IFK Värnamo in the Superettan . There he shone as a regular goalscorer and led the club in the relegation battle with six goals in ten games in the relegation games against relegation to the third division. After a 0-1 defeat in the first leg against Dalkurd FF , he was one of the most important players in the 5-1 return leg success when he was successful as a double goal getter and led the club to relegation alongside the three-time goalscorer Dzenis Kozica .

Subsequently, IFK wanted to continue signing Värnamo Kamara, which led to discussions about the right contact person - FC Kallon or Djurgårdens IF. Ultimately, the striker accepted an offer from Allsvenskan and joined IFK Norrköping , where he won over striker Imad Khalili , who had already moved to Helsingborgs IF in late summer and was crowned top scorer of the 2013 first division season , and Gunnar Heiðar Þorvaldsson should inherit. In the 2014 season he finally scored ten goals this season for his new club and was tied with Emir Kujović as the club's top scorer in relegation as twelfth in the table.

After Kamara was still in the group stage of the Swedish National Cup for his Swedish club in March 2015 , he switched to the Malaysian club Johor FC on loan until the end of November, shortly before the end of the transition period at the end of the month , which agreed a purchase option. He then moved to the top North American soccer league for DC United in 2016 . Again just a few months later, it was awarded to Richmond Kickers . Then he played for al-Taawon in Saudi Arabia for six months .

He spent the whole of 2018 with the Moldovan first division club Sheriff Tiraspol , then his contract was not extended. On February 19, 2019, the Danish first division club Vendsyssel FF announced the signing of Kamara. On July 1, 2019, he moved to league rivals Randers FC .

National team

From 2014 to 2015 he played four full international matches for Sierra Leone . In his last appearance on October 13, 2015, he scored the goal of the interim equalization in the home game of the World Cup qualification against Chad (2-1).
