Alsóbogát is a Hungarian community in the county Kaposvár in Somogy county . The district Alsóbogátpuszta belongs to the municipality.

Geographical location

Alsóbogát is located about 17.5 kilometers northwest of the city of Kaposvár . Neighboring communities are Edde , Somogygeszti and Somogyjád .

history

Alsóbogát has only existed as an independent municipality since 1994, before it belonged to the municipality of Edde.
