Taszár is a Hungarian community in the county Kaposvár in Somogy county .
Geographical location
Taszár is located about eight kilometers east of the town of Kaposvár on the small river Taszári-árok . Neighboring communities are Kaposhomok , Sántos and Baté .
Infrastructure
Taszár has a kindergarten, elementary school, library, mayor's office, a Roman Catholic church and several sports clubs. There is a military airfield to the northeast of the village .

The main road No. 61 runs on the southern edge of Taszár. The station, located southwest of the municipality, is connected to the railway line from Dombóvár to Gyékényes .
