Tasilikulooq [ tasilikuˈlɔːq ] (according to the old spelling Tasilikulôĸ ) is a Greenlandic shepherd settlement in the district of Qaqortoq in the municipality of Kujalleq .

location

Tasilikulooq is located in the middle of the Tasikuluulik (Vatnahverfi) lake area east of the Ipiutaa isthmus between the two lakes Tasersuaq and Saqqaata Tasia . 2.3 km northeast is the next shepherd's settlement Saqqaa , while it is 17 km to the north to the nearest larger settlement Igaliku . The settlement is located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Kujataa and has ruins of the Grænlendingar .

Population development

Tasilikulooq was first inhabited in 1991. Since then the population has increased to seven people. The last known population of the shepherd settlements was for 2013. Illorsuit is statistically listed under "Farms at Eqalugaarsuit".
