Eqaluit [ ɜˈqaluitˢʰ ] (according to the old spelling Eĸaluit ) is a deserted Greenlandic shepherd settlement in the district of Qaqortoq in the municipality of Kujalleq .
location
Eqaluit is north of the bay of the same name , which flows into the Igalikup Kangerlua . This puts Eqaluit at the end of the Tasikuluulik lake area . 1.7 km east-southeast is the next shepherd's settlement Eqaluit Akiat .
