Geographical location
Alsózsolca is located in northern Hungary, twelve kilometers east of the Miskolc county seat , on the Sajó River . The neighboring municipality is Sajólád , four kilometers away, the nearest town is Felsőzsolca , five kilometers from Alsózsolca.
