Altamasch Noor (* 1990 in Kabul ) is a German actor .

Life

Altamasch Noor spent his early years in his native Afghanistan , where his father against the Taliban had fought until the family of five after the seizure of the Taliban with the help of smugglers several weeks Iran and across Europe to Germany fled. After their arrival - Altamasch Noor was 9 years old at the time - the family initially lived on a houseboat for refugees in Övelgönne .

Noor attended secondary school, where one of his teachers sent him to a taster course at an acting school. He received a scholarship from a drama school and completed his acting training at the School for Drama Hamburg (SFSH) from 2010 to 2013 . During his training he took part in several theater productions of the SFSH, among others under the direction of Vladimir Tarasjanz . At the Hamburg Thalia Theater , he supervised several theater performances as part of the three-year cooperation project “God and the World and Me”, in which refugees from Afghanistan, Latin America and various African countries jointly developed plays and put them on stage. In 2014, Noor's production, Gate to the World , was named “Project of the Month” by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) and financially supported. In 2014 he was a guest at the Dresden Music Festival .

Noor has been in front of the camera regularly since 2014 for cinema and television productions. In the cinema he was seen in the youth films Bibi & Tina: Tohuwabohu Total (2017) and Die Pfefferkörner und der Fluch des Schwarzen König (2017). Altamasch he also appeared in the international thriller series Paranoid (2016). In the ZDF television series Dengler (2016) he played a friend of Dengler's son at the side of Robert Alexander Beer , Jannis Niewöhner and Roxane Duran . In Dortmund's real-time crime scene: Sturm (2007), he was one of the three perpetrators. In the first film of the TV series Der Barcelona-Krimi (2017), he played the young suspect Pakistani Sameer Qureshi.

Noor also appeared in several TV series. Initially he had episode roles in Dr. Small (2014) and Großstadtrevier (2017). In the children's and youth series Die Pfefferkörner , he played the chauffeur and bodyguard Hamit Yildirim in a recurring series role. In the 7th season of the ZDF series Heldt (2019), Noor took on a leading role as LKA - " Cybercrime " commissioner Sanjay Kapoor. Altamasch Noor, who has meanwhile converted to Christianity , is married and lives in Hamburg-Bergedorf .
