Alto Malcantone is a municipality in the district of Breno , district Lugano , in the Swiss canton of Ticino .
geography
The municipality of Alto Malcantone in the upper Malcantone borders on the south on Miglieglia , Aranno and Cademario , on the east on Bedano and Torricella-Taverne and on the north on Mezzovico-Vira .
history
The municipality was created on March 14, 2005 through the union of the former municipalities of Arosio , Breno , Fescoggia , Mugena and Vezio .
