The A3000UX is a model of Amiga - Computer series of Commodore and was with Commodore Amiga UNIX instead AmigaOS delivered.

Amiga UNIX - even AMIX called - was not a Unix - clone , but a complete porting of UNIX System V Release 4 from AT & T .

Offer from Sun

Sun Microsystems offered Commodore-Amiga Inc. to produce the A3000UX under license as a low-end addition to their own workstations. The offer was rejected by the Commodore management because they believed in the great breakthrough of the A3000UX.
