Home computers

  • VC 10 - also known as the Commodore MAX Machine or Ultimax ; technological predecessor of the C64, which was only sold in very small numbers in Japan
  • VC 20 - German name for an 8-bit computer sold in the rest of the world under the name VIC 20
  • C64 - the world's best-selling 8-bit home computer , which was sold until the 1990s
  • SX-64 and DX-64 - portable version of the C64 with integrated floppy drive; as DX-64 available for a short time with two floppy drives, but taken off the market very quickly due to thermal problems.
  • Commodore 264 series ( C16 , C116 , Plus4 ) - originally intended as the C64 successor, finally marketed in parallel to the C64 as an independent 8-bit model series.
  • C128 - CP / M -capable 8-bit successor to the C64 with three operating systems
  • C65 - successor to the C64 that was not ready for series production
  • C256 - successor to the C128 that was not ready for series production
  • Amiga - 16/32-bit series of home computers with outstanding graphics capabilities
  • VIC-1001 - a package consisting of VIC 20 . Datasette , game modules and joystick that was only sold in Japan
