Commodore SFD1002

The SFD 1002 floppy disk drive is a 5.25 inch drive for the CBM-8000 series from Commodore . It is an SFD-1001 drive that was also supplied with an IEEE-488 interface for the C64 . Internally, the drive works with Commodore DOS version 2.5 or version 2.7.

The SFD 1002 / SFD 1001 is the single-drive version of the CBM 8250 and, like it, uses the Group Coded Recording (GCR) recording method.
