Amphoe Chaloem Phra Kiat ( Thai : เฉลิมพระเกียรติ ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district) of the Saraburi Province . The Saraburi Province is located in the central region of Thailand .

Neighboring districts (clockwise from the north): Amphoe Phatthana Nikhom of the province of Lop Buri and Amphoe Kaeng Khoi , Amphoe Mueang Saraburi , Amphoe Sao Hai and Amphoe Phra Phutthabat of the province of Saraburi.

history

On December 5, 1996, the Tambon Huay Bong, Ban Keng, Khao Din Phatthana, Phu Khae and Na Phralan were separated from the Amphoe Mueang Saraburi to form the new Chaloem Phra Kiat County. It is one of five counties in Thailand of the same name. All were founded on the same day to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the throne of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) .

This area was chosen because there is a royal project here: at Wat Mongkhon Chaiphatthana, the Chaiphatthana Foundation is testing a new agricultural theory devised by the king.

  • Na Phra Lan (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล หน้าพระลาน ) consisting of parts of the Tambon Na Phra Lan.

In addition, there are six " tambon administration organizations " ( องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - Tambon Administrative Organizations, TAO)

  • Khao Din Phatthana (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล เขา ดิน พัฒนา ) consisting of the complete tambon Khao Din Phatthana.
  • Ban Kaeng (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล บ้าน แก้ง ) consisting of the complete tambon Ban Kaeng.
  • Phueng Ruang (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ผึ้งรวง ) consisting of the complete tambon Phueng Ruang.
  • Phu Khae (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล พุ แค ) consisting of the complete tambon Phu Khae.
  • Huai Bong (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ห้วย บ ง ) consisting of the complete Tambon Huai Bong.
  • Na Phra Lan (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล หน้าพระลาน ) consisting of parts of the Tambon Na Phra Lan.
