Amphoe Don Phut ( Thai : อำเภอ ดอนพุด ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district) in the west of the Saraburi province . The Saraburi Province is located in the central region of Thailand .

Neighboring districts (clockwise from north): Amphoe Mueang Lop Buri of Lop Buri Province , Amphoe Nong Don and Amphoe Ban Mo of Saraburi Province, Amphoe Tha Ruea , Amphoe Nakhon Luang , Amphoe Maha Rat and Amphoe Ban Phraek of Ayutthaya Province .

history

On May 31, 1971, the district of Don Phut was initially set up as a "branch district" ( King Amphoe ) by separating the Tambon Don Phut, Dong Ta Ngao, Ban Luang and Phai Lio from the Ban Mo district . On November 4, 1993, he officially got full amphoe status.

Most residents of this district are Tai Phuan ( ชาว ไท พ วน ), during the reign of King Phra Phutthaloetla ( Rama II. ) From the Chiang Khong District , from Luang Prabang and Vientiane have immigrated here.

  • Dong Ta-ngao (Thai: องค์การ บริหารส่วน ตำบล ดง ตะ งาว ) consisting of the complete tambon Dong Ta-ngao.
